The Greater Bandon Association invites the public to share their opinion about downtown and the future of downtown Bandon at our Community meeting on Wednesday, May 2 at the Bandon Community Center at 6:30 PM. Representatives from National and Oregon Main Street will be on hand as they conduct an economic strategy visit to Bandon. The visit will help in clarifying a vision for downtown Bandon and identify market opportunities for Bandon.
The representatives will be sharing the results of the community survey that nearly 300 Bandon residents participated in as well as a light market analysis that the national organization will have completed prior to their arrival. The team will provide an overview of economic transformation strategies and their suggestions on those for Bandon.
Then it will be your turn to ask any questions about what you just heard. More important to GBA, we will want your feedback and any additional comments or suggestions that you may have. We are asking the community to spend 90 minutes with us to help shape the focus of GBA’s economic development work in Bandon over the next five years. We have accomplished a lot in our first five years since we became a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. We want to make an even bigger impact in the future with measurable gains in Bandon’s economic vitality. We are asking you to join us in that adventure.
